The brief
Rescue, refactor, and ship a messy codebase.
When I took over the project, it was already in a very messy state: most of the front-end was built for showcase only, the back-end had barely started, and there were no patterns or documentation. The deployment workflow was overengineered with bottlenecks that hurt overall performance.
My role focused mainly on the back-end and DevOps fixes, though I eventually did substantial front-end work as well — introducing architecture patterns, restructuring Strapi data types, and building the missing product surface.
