CIN-CG (Center for Investigative Journalism of Montenegro) is a nonprofit newsroom producing investigative stories across articles, videos, and infographics. The previous site had security vulnerabilities, outdated WordPress, performance bottlenecks, and an overwhelming backend for editors.
The brief
I led the UX and development process with the editorial team to align site structure with content priorities — wireframes, low-fidelity prototypes, and high-fidelity UX for key templates.
Delivered a clean, secure WordPress setup with a custom Oxygen Builder theme, SEO optimization, improved security settings, and training for journalists and editors.
The result is a fast, focused platform that highlights featured investigations and streamlines publishing for the internal team.
